National Outbound Lead

The National Outbound Sales Lead will be responsible for delivering Yoco’s fast paced growth on a national basis. Develop strategies, determine processes and manage the people to drive this exciting startup to scale. The Outbound Lead will be responsible for recruiting and developing regional teams, implementing standardised processes, ways of working, KPIs, and reporting.
The role reports directly to the Head of Sales at Yoco. 
The National Outbound Lead will be accountable for determining Yoco’s outbound sales strategy,  ways of working and implementation through Area managers.  You will be responsible for setting area manager targets and validating strategies under a cohesive national outbound approach. You will ensure that these remote teams have a single team identity and overarching approach and are part of the broader Yoco team and culture.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the execution of Yoco’s outbound strategy by setting up new office locations, determining processes and ensuring consistency and results across regions
  • Set and manage area targets in new acquisition and transaction volume
  • Development, implementation, training and compliance of Outbound KPI’s, systems and processes, including optimal use of Salesforce
  • Development, implementation and consistent application of key team rituals
  • Education and skill development of team members
  • Keeping the focus on company objectives and goals and integration of remote teams into the Yoco culture
Key requirements to perform responsibilities:
  • Five or more years’ experience in a national/regional sales position in a highly target-driven environment.
  • Strong leadership and track record in building a national sales structure from scratch.
  • Proven track record in defining and implementing systems and processes that drive KPIs.
  • Passion for the sale in a customer-centric manner.
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset

 Bonus points:

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience in selling payments or fintech solutions to merchants
