Women’s Day Social media competition 2017 Terms and Conditions

How to qualify to win:
The entrant must be tagged in the comments of the Facebook post by Yoco on the Yoco Facebook page on Tuesday 8 August 2017, that announces the Women’s Day competition.
The person tagging the entrant must write about the entrant / what the entrant does / why she deserves to win, in the comment.
The entrant must be tagged between Tuesday 8 August at 10am and Thursday 10 August 2017 at 6pm.
As with all Yoco sign ups, the winner will is subject to vetting approval. Our vetting procedure is a standard requirement, conducted to ensure that all merchants signing up for Yoco meet the set criteria as per our partner bank. This consist of a basic information verification and a credit check.
Should the entrant be tagged in the post and not wish to enter the competition, she must notify Yoco via email at [email protected] before Thursday 10 August 2017 at 6pm and Yoco will cancel the entry.
The entrant grants permission to the promoter to publish the entrant’s name, the entrant’s business name, and the entrant’s social media profile name(s) on the promoter’s social media platforms.
The entrant also grant’s the promoter permission to use their business name and/or social media profiles for future social media and/or digital and/or offline campaigns.
The winner will be selected and will be announced on Yoco’s social media platforms and via email on Friday 11 August 2017.
The prize consists of a free Yoco Wireless Lite card reader, the Yoco App and Business Intelligence Portal.
The winner will be eligible to pay transaction fees on transactions processed through Yoco at 2.95% ex VAT (this fee is negotiable depending on the winner’s transaction volume).
General terms and conditions:
The promoter of this competition is Yoco Technologies (“the promoter”).
The Women’s Day competition commences on Tuesday 8 August at 10 am and will end on Thursday 10 August at 6pm. No late entries will be accepted.
Persons who are employees of the promoter, their associated advertising and promotional agencies, distributing agencies and their immediate families will not be eligible for Women’s Day competition prize.
The entrants must fully comply with the points stipulated in the “how to qualify to win” section in order to qualify for the prize.
The promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that may be deemed as inappropriate content.
The promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication, or any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or corrupted entries.
The promoter and their agents will not be held responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party.
The promoter and their agents are not liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences of user error.
The winner will be selected from the entire pool of entrants that meet the criteria above by an independent third party appointed by the promoter.
The competition draw will take place on Friday, 11 August 2017.
The winner will be notified via email and posts on Yoco’s social media pages on Friday 11 August 2017. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and randomly select a replacement winner.
The winner will be contacted directly, and thereafter media announcements will be made via our website, social media platforms and general media.
The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence or negotiations will be entered into. The promoter or their agents will not be held responsible for any disputes arising from the competition or prize awards.
The prize is not redeemable, and cannot be deferred, exchanged or transferred.
The promoter undertakes to send the prize to the winner within 30 days of confirmation of the winners’ contact details and address. The promoter and their agents accept no liability for any undelivered prizes, or prizes which may have been damaged, stolen or lost during delivery.
Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them when entering.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or amend the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in it’s opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name, business name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation (POPI Act) and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
