There are only two costs. The first is a once-off fee for the card reader and the second is the card transaction fee. There are no monthly rental fees, no setup fees and no lock-in contract. In fact there are no other fees at all. Your transaction rate depends on how much money you put through your card reader each month. Take a look at this table to estimate your transaction rate:
As a new customer you will start at 2.95% (ex VAT), so should you do R5,000 in card transactions through your Yoco in the first month, our transaction fees will amount to R147.50 (ex VAT). Should your sales grow over time, your transaction fees will come down aligned to the table above. When you order online, it takes 3 - 5 working days for your Yoco card reader to be delivered to you. You can start using Yoco immediately once you receive it. In a rush? Walk away with Yoco within an hour if you pop into our Cape Town office at 56 Shortmarket Street, or our Johannesburg Store at 30, 4th Avenue, Parkhurst.
Step 1: Enter your bank details into your online Business Portal.Step 2: Take card payments. Your money will reflect in your South African bank account, between 24 to 48 hours later.
Yoco connects to an android or iOS tablet or smartphone using bluetooth. You need data or wifi to run the Yoco app from your device. You use the Yoco app to start the transaction and then accept payment using your Yoco Card Reader. Our support is available every single day, from 9am to 10pm.
