Nomathemba is a visionary with dream. Having started her own business after being influenced by her cousin, she has shown that she can achieve whatever she puts her mind to – despite the odds.

I got a cousin who started beauty a long time ago. So when we got family gatherings, I’d see her looking so nice and professional and I said ‘okay, maybe I should go into the beauty side of it’. But firstly, I was working somewhere else. I waited for certain people, and I was inspired to start my own certain thing.

Nomathemba is determined to make a success out of herself and her business. Running and managing a business for over 4 years has had its impact on her. Being in a small town such as Empangeni in Zululand has taught her a thing or two about the beauty industry.

The most surprising thing on her journey? The amount of male clientele that she receives who make recurring appointments with her.
