Sneak Peek: Behind the scenes of the first Yoco Pop Up Store in Soweto

We’re for the entrepreneurs. The do-ers, dreamers and creators. The challengers, rebels and believers. And now we’re bringing that experience to life.

We’re excited to introduce to you the very first Yoco Pop Up Store! We’ll be in Maponya Mall across from Clicks, from August to October. A home for small business, in the heart of Soweto.

Small businesses in the space

We’ve invited entrepreneurs to sell their products / services in store – a pop up within a pop up! We’re not only about making it easier for you to get Yoco, but also empowering small businesses to get their names out there. Here’s who you can expect to meet:

Walk Fresh

Lethabo Mokoena and his crew are rewriting the township narrative through their sneaker cleaning business. Visit the Yoco Pop Up and give your pair of shoes a new lease on life.

Read Lethabo’s story here and see him featured in our brand film here.

OwnIt Start Up Academy

Founded by Tlhogi Letsholonyane, OwnIt Academy is all about pushing consumers and businesses to buy proudly South African products. They will be exhibiting proudly South African fashion brands from some of the hottest up and coming designers.

Check out their website and connect with them on Twitter.

Love TEATime
